Problem is, leagues like the EPL are usually very easy to predict out. 5000-1 is pretty accurate reflection of Leicester's chances back in August. The disparity in the past between the Big 4-5 teams (whoever they are at the time) and the others has always been pretty big.

The question is whether this was fluke and either Chelsea or Man City will win again next season or that the gap between teams is smaller now.

The big thing now is that if the smaller clubs like Leicester want to keep a player, they can probably afford to with the money pouring in on the new TV contract. They don't have to sell off assets in order to stay afloat like they used to.

Well LC did a fabulous job of finding players who were under the radar. I don't expect that every year, but I would agree that LC is going to be pretty good to the extent that they can keep the guys together and maybe add a few pieces. I give the coach full marks for knowing what rocks to look under for players.
BTW todays AM vs BM game featured some jaw dropping plays. Two penalties saved? when have you ever seen that.

Jordan Morris has now scored in 4 straight games (tying the MLS rookie record) with a goal against San Jose tonight. Dempsey also had one for Seattle. Wondolowski hit the post on a PK.

Naturally, Klinsmann will have Wondo as his starting forward for Copa America...

I'd really like to see Atlético win this. Mostly because, while I wouldn't call myself a fan, they are my Spanish team of choice, a team I find myself pulling for if I happen to catch them, and a good friend of mine is a big fan. Also, I tend to root for the underdog. Atlético isn't exactly a minnow, you could make a strong case for them as the third team in Spain with 10 league titles, 10 cup titles, a Cup Winners Cup, 2 Europa League titles, an Intercontinental Cup and 2 European Cup runner-ups, but just about any team is an underdog, historically vs. Real. In addition to that, Real is my 2nd least favorite team in the world (AC Milan is my least favorite).

Unless you have some sort of direct rooting interest, or a general "I support teams from this country" rule, it's pretty much impossible to root for any of the following teams in CL play:

- Real Madrid
- Barca
- Man U
- Chelsea
- Bayern
- AC Milan
- Inter
- Juventus

And that's a very easy list to add to.

Happy St. Totteringham's Day to everyone as Arsenal clinch a higher finish than Spurs for the 22nd second season, moving ahead of Spurs in dramatic fashion on the final day of the season!

I wanted to pick up a USA jersey for the Copa matches this Summer. Spent a long time today trying to decide what to go with and I've come to the conclusion that I'm not a fan of the home kit. Just not feeling the White/Sky Blue. I am happy that they did ditch the collar on the jersey however.

Did anyone else think it was weird when Man United won the FA Cup yesterday and Jose Mourinho elbowed Louis Van Gaal out of the way to collect the trophy?
