I don't know too much about tactics but I can't imagine having 3 English descend on an open ball in the D zone is a good idea.

It’s called a high press, it’s a very vogue thing in soccer right now but it’s terrible idea against the US women.

As evidenced by the goal scored while I’m typing.

Exactly my thoughts. Between the high press and the slow play out of the back they’re playing straight into the US game.

This could get ugly without some adjustments.

My favorite part was the four England players who watched the ball fly over their head and never so much as took a step to defend Press. That was stellar!
