I guess it's just my experiences when attending these games where there is 1/4-1/2 or more of the seating off limits to spectators so they all have to sit in seats that will be shown on camera. Gold Cup and Copa America are as good of competition that we will see in North America, so I get that point. I just can't see Soldier Field being more than 1/2-2/3 full for this event, even if the US is participating.

If Mexico plays in the final Soldier Field will be sold out, no doubt.
But it’s like that for every Gold Cup.
Edit: If Mexico is eliminated then there’s usually cheap tickets to pick up.

El Salvador now needs to win or draw, or lose and score 2 or more against Honduras (and that has to be a one goal loss).

USA vs Curacao on Sunday. I know they had to set up the bracket the way it is for rest purposes, but I don’t like the potential for a rematch in the semis.
I don’t even know how astronomical the odds are, but I would love to be inside the CONCACAF offices if Haiti, Costa Rica, and Curacao move on to the semis.
