Well, after a shambolic summer, Wenger signs Mesut Ozil at the last moment from Madrid! He's an awesome player and makes Arsenal a different team instantly. Of course Wenger didn't really address some of the more pressing needs, but hard to be too upset when a player the quality of Ozil comes through the door. Add a win against Spurs over the weekend, and I can't complain.

So at least here in Boston (Comcast), Fox Soccer Channel is no more. It has been replaced by a movie channel, FXX. I guess it was a casualty of the launch of fox sports 1 and fox sports 2 as a lot of the soccer stuff will be on those channels. still not happy about it. plus, as of right now, comcast doesn't carry fox sports 2.

Yeah, that start was pretty awful. However, I think the loss of Michael Bradley really put the team off kilter to start. They seemed to regain their composure a bit towards the end, and the second half should be pretty entertaining.
