Dragging someone down from behind by the shoulders seems like it's worthy of a 2nd yellow

This is just hard to watch. Brazil has been the better team but at the same time they aren't a deserving winner

When the sport is so low scoring to begin with, to have both Brazilian goals be directly from poor calls and non-calls, it's a joke though. Sure there is crappy officiating in other sports, but other sports also have a heck of allot more scoring and scoring opportunities.

In all fairness, there's no doubt lloyd should have been sent off earlier in the game but at that point there's no guarantee brazil ties it without a ridiculous PK given

No disagreement there, it's certainly something that could use fixing. But you've already changed your position from what it was a half hour ago. It's gone from "soccer will never catch on" to "I don't like soccer". Fine by me, but that's a heck of a difference.

Umm, where did I say I don't like soccer? I like soccer and watch nearly US game. I am easily irritated by stupidity and incompetence though. If Brazil could have somehow scored a goal fair and square, I'd be much less irritated. I assumed the US would end up losing this game once the PK was called. But then Brazil gets another crap goal and it just infuriates me.

If the officials don't understand soccer, why should the announcers have to understand time?

Is there seriously not a producer in their ears saying we still have 2 minutes left in regular time and then there should be atleast 2-3 minutes for stoppage time with that fake injury.
