It could always happen I guess. And the best thing is that we have going for us on that is the fact to host one at the drop of a hat. The only location that really needed to be build was the new LA stadium, and if push came to shove on that, they could still make do with the Rose Bowl.Gulati interview at halftime:
- Yes, we voted for Sepp. He's promised reforms. "Taking the moral high ground is fine unless on you're standing on quickstand."
- "Who knows" on a World Cup revote. No proof of anything so far.
Didn't take much notice of Ancelotti getting the boot at Chelsea until he became a frontrunner at Aston Villa...aside from the headline "fired after two successful years" what is the deal with Carlo? Good manager? Did he bring Torres in or was that the owner? From a distance I thought the Drogba/Torres thing did indicate some people over there weren't on the same page.
I guess they're expecting around 25k tonight. Not terrible or anything, but I wish they could have lowered the prices a bit. Most expensive tix were $110. I know you technically get two games (Panama-Guadeloupe, yay!), but still.
USA team for tonight:
USA: Howard; Cherundolo, Goodson, Ream, Bocanegra; Dempsey, Bradley, Jones, Donovan; Altidore, Agudelo
Bornstein, Rogers, Adu and Spector not in the 18.
USA VS. Canada tonight at Ford Field . Wish I could be there.
Is it on any channel? (Specifically, any online feed?)
CONCACAF.com for English and univisionfutbol.com for Spanish. I've heard the CONCACAF one can be hit or miss.

The CONCACAF.com announcers are completely unprofessional.

Altidore's goal should have been stopped, but he put a hard low shot on target and it just goes to prove the adage that good things happen when you put shots on goal. Some nice saves by Howard to preserve the shutout too.
It's crazy, because the rest of the organization is the epitome of professionalism.
