I enjoy it. More of a challenge.

Is it really? Although I have only done it about 10 times, I have never failed. After 4 words to get 20 letters, I can almost always get one word in each of the next four guesses. I like playing Nerdle, which wT linked, more. It's the ideal thing for those of us (me) who scored slightly over 200 points more on the Math SAT than the Verbal one. Admittedly, Wordle uses more analytic talent than linguistic talent also.

Today's wordle was truly b.s. I got it on 5, but it didn't seem like a fair test. More luck than anything.

spoiler below:
Two doubles (so only 3 total letters used), not one common letter, only one vowel used (including y) and the word doesn't use any normal multiple-letter combos like 'ck' or 'st.' And I wouldn't say the word itself is all that common, at least in comparison to most of the words used.

All told, just felt like they intentionally threw a curveball in to screw with people.

But it is. You can even find it in English language dictionaries. The native word for the currency is similar but different.
