Wisconsin Women's Hockey 2026-27

Apparently the AD has managed to fumble the simple administrative function of making tickets available. I bought extra tickets for a family gathering for the Natty banner drop and have no idea when we'll have either those single game tickets or my season tickets. Does the person behind the curtain have a mysterious reason for keeping us in suspense or is it the AD's usual incompetence at work?

My "magic" season ticket and another GA ticket that I bought for a friend show in "My Upcoming Events" in the phone app, though at present neither is downloadable or transferable. But I don't think that is particularly unusual, or "distressing" this far out from the first game of the year.
 
TDM has a few primer articles up. Of note to me is MJ is pissed about the international events screwing up the line-up and UW is so deep at C Scannell is playing W.

I'm pretty sure they will load about 43 minutes before the building opens for the first game.
 
Three Todd Milewski articles dropped into madison.com today! If you subscribe to the State Journal, be sure to click on them and share them if you are on social media. I think it was year-before-last that the SJ dropped its coverage of women's hockey for most of the season. Todd told me, basically, that if the traffic to a type of article isn't robust, the paper quits publishing that type of article. So, it's important that we provide "traffic" to the articles about women's hockey. If you don't subscribe, maybe you know folks who do and could provide some clicks.

That's why I "like" everything he puts on the Tweeder. We need to keep the man employed. I suspect if the team sucked, there would be no coverage at all.

Happy b-day MJ! I saw on Instagram that some of the players were out at the ranch the other day.
 
First Press Conference has been posted. MJ didn't say who, but 1 girl was out sick and 1 girl has been on crutches for the last 2-3 weeks.
 
Interesting that the Women’s Euro Hockey Tour is taking place next week and Adela Sapovalivova is not listed on the Czechia roster.

3 other NCAA forwards did make their roster for the tournament. I wonder if Adela was asked and declined? Seems strange that she wouldn’t be on the team after having the international success she has had

It’s a nothing event… she would not ever miss NCAA games to play in it… basically exhibition games between the Euro leagues.

Parking is a giant klusterpuck.....10 games are included in the season ticket package, 3 games are not (fend for yourself), and 4 might be included, or maybe not. Nice.

They need to build a new rink off campus that holds 5000 with ample parking. This is ridiculous. Is there room on the Dane County Coliseum campus for another rink? Or how about tear that down and put the women's rink there. And put a hotel attached to the rink. Then they can start hosting ncaa FF games.
