Wisconsin Women's Hockey 2025-2026

I'm an old fart, and - before digital tickets - used to buy football tickets out on Monroe or Breese Terrace. One game was going to be a 'stripe out'; red or white depending on the section. So, what to do? I wore two shirts, red and white, so I could have the correct one on the outside, once I knew what section I'd be in.

I had white on last weekend. They did a poor job of publicizing it. You want people to wear white on Sunday? Don't give away the white t-shirts on Saturday, do it ON SUNDAY!

Age has nothing to do with it.
Well anecdotally when I see people not getting it right, they are generally the older fans in the fat cat seats.

YMMV

Yes, you are wrong. The Mavs are a 50/50 proposition for the Gophs.
Take the top line from each team, the 4th line and a few extras from a mix of each team, and the top D pair from each team. Right now, I would have no problem betting on them.

Am I wrong in thinking the Rodents, THSNBN and UW (with full college rosters) could all beat Canada at this point?
You are not wrong in thinking that way. Although it's not a certainty, those full college rosters could definitely give Canada a run for their money. The Canadians have hung on to the old guard for too long. USA Hockey also has its share of legacy players who need to move on so younger players (Casey O'Brien) can fill those spots. For the most part, the youth movement in US hockey is working well for the national team. It's not a stretch to imagine how this also helps UW recruitment.

With Czechia being eliminated today, I wonder what Sapovalivova will do.

It's nine days until the closing ceremonies, and while I certainly don't begrudge an athlete wanting to take part in them, nine days hanging around Milan seems like a long time. With Prague being only 500 miles from Milan, maybe she heads home for a couple days, then back for the closing ceremonies. Maybe her parents are in Milan, so they take a couple days 'vacation' in northern Italy. Or maybe she heads back to school and hockey in Madison.

Interesting to see; too bad these are the options, and no more play to be had at the Olympics for her.

Strange things can happen but i dont expect they will. The girls that are here should be able to take care of business. But maybe it could be a wait and see the results from this weekends games and how important next weekends games are before deciding.

I did not get to see any of the game yet, antilove the Firday afternoon tilts. Shots were reasonably one sided, Picard finally scored a goal, had a PPH and a SHG, lost the faceoff battle . Eden was 3/5! Picard only took 6 but was 50%. Scannell and Hall got destroyed.

You won't like the first five minutes or so. Skip ahead, maybe all the way to halfway through the first period.

I skipped the whole first and second today. I only got a chance to watch the third actually.

Badger recruit Kimbrel is a finalist for The Miz Minnesota hockey award.

Badgers destroyed Mankato in the Face-Off circle. Hall was 75% Picard and Scannell were 67. This is however a very disturbing trend that they get killed in game one face-offs and they completely reverse it in game two. There'll be no such opportunities in the NCAA tournament for faceoff redemption in game two. Hall specifically has to figure out how to win face-offs in game 1. Maybe she needs to watch film between periods.

Maybe it was like this last year, but 15 bucks for WCHA playoff tickets plus a $7 fee is up there. But when you're an addict, you'll pay whatever the price is to get your jam, as long as the uniforms are not black LOL.

Grabbed tix for the Friday WCHA game.

Don't normally bother with these games as they are so lopsided.

If we can't get NCAA tix or have a conflict, I want to see the senior Olympians one more time.
