Hilary Knight played the post-season in 2011 with a fractured thumb, and had surgery on it a week or two after they won the championship. "Small fracture" can mean all sorts of things.

Nope. It's over. It was great while it lasted. All these MCL injuries have me concerned about something their training program is making them more susceptible to these this season. 3 in 10 games is nuts. I saw the Edwards one and it just seemed like a rub on the boards and down she went.
Nice job by the lads last night, they really dominated the rodents that identify as males. Quite unexpected.

3 more hours of work, then it's off to home to pick up Maddy and throw a jersey on, then onto the battle royale. Bummed Sappy isn't playing, I was wanting the full forward firepower for this series. I'm thinking...

I pointed this out on the volleyball chat site, but it belongs here, as well.
Tonight at 8 PM at the Field House, Wisconsin volleyball plays #1 ranked Nebraska.
That is, two #1 ranked NCAA teams playing in the same town on the same night, possibly at the same time for a couple minutes. I wonder how often that happens.
(There is an excellent chance that the Badgers are going to get clobbered by Nebraska.)
