I just watched the last minute of the game and the celebration again. On the pile, there was a #7 with dark hair and Gorbatenko on the back with no initial. Next to her there was a player with no name or number. They were both dressed in full equipment. The Gorbatenko twins must have came flying out of the locker room immediately at the horn. I don't think they would have been allowed on the bench like that.

The championship t-shirts,etc, have started showing up at the Bucky's Locker Room web site (though not at the physical stores yet, per the guy on the phone at the Camp Randall store).
The reason I was on the phone with the guy at the Camp Randall store is that there is one shirt on the web site that lists the names and numbers of the players on the back ... and some of the numbers are wrong!

(He told me to contact the overall owner company, Fanatics, which I did. Though it was probably an AI bot, so who knows if it will fix anything, or prevent them from producing a load of incorrect shirts.)

Of course, I need perspective (and I don't expect you to go fetch it for me). Over the last 5 years or so, who lead this team in scoring and what was their ppg? 1.74 is great, but if the scoring leader from there is typically more than that, then it tampers my enthusiasm. I don't know why their stats are so locked down, you'd think they'd want everyone to see how their players are doing.

There are WI born players in the portal if MJ is looking for low cost depth. 2 are D but I don't think there is a need at D with 8 on the books already. There are 13 F counting Vasseur and not counting Enright. F Greta Brezenski is a So from Clarkson, appeared in 52 games, 5 pts. F Reese Strauts played in 24 games for St. Cloud as a Fr, 2 pts.

Very excited to see her play and get the (former/defunct) Czechoslovakia teammates together.
I'm 91% Czech according to DNA and it didn't specify between Slovakia and Czechia. So these are my people(!) as I like to declare to my wife as she rolls her eyes. Not sure though if my ancestors are from Slovakia or Czechia but maybe both. Who knows?
I am adopted so it was kind of cool and surprising and out of left field/random to find out - always figured I was mostly German. Was never provincial but since I found out they (both countries) have become my second rooting interests in international play.
Hope to be there on opening night.
Oh yeah... other 9% is Swedish somehow. Meh. Not sure how that happened.

I know Quinn and her loyalty is to herself. What I mean by that is she milks her image and working now for BTN she's going to side with the winning team. I guarantee you if Ohio State had won she's say once a Buckeye always a Buckeye.
