That's good advice. We talk about getting out of your comfort zone alot in Boy Scouts, where I am a leader. He could come here knowing the bad year, be determined to lead the team, and help turn the ship around. That would be a nice accomplishment for the next level. First time we have agreed in a while...
People in the know seem to think he is gone, so I figure that if he happens to come to UW, it will be an unexpected bonus.
If it were my kid I'd advise him going to play with the same linemates at the next level might be fun, but I'm not sure it would be the best thing for developing all around. Seeking new challenges beyond your comfort zone is what builds character and develops the person. And college is the time to strike out and make your own way and your own name. But that's just me. And my Red glasses.
