When I said extra year, I consider Kerdiles staying one more year as an "extra year" out of him. I know you've had a lot of juniors leave, but I'd say getting three years out of those players is a win. I'm thinking mostly of the defensemen off the top of my head.

I have a hunch that we may see Kerdiles in red and white next year. No way LaBate should leave but after Woods last year who knows. McCabe is gone.

In my opinion 95% for McCabe, 75% for Kerdiles, <40% for LaBate.

"Chuck", going back a couple years (I don't recall), how hard did we pursue Will Butcher? I thought he was huge loss. MCR Jr knows Will's past with the Capitols, is a huge Avalanche fan and know's Will's an Av's draftee. He was wondering as well.

Threw up an update today on some committed recruits and how they are doing. Brock Boeser and Matthew Freytag both made moves to the USHL this weekend.

I don't know specifics on how hard he was recruited but it's pretty fair to assume they went after him hard. Unfortunately for UW, Butcher's father's connection with Steve Miller was too much to overcome.

Maybe with Miller back in Madison, Will will transfer to UW! (I won't hold my breath tho'!)

Yes, he is a junior. Undecided where he'll play next season, but I get the feeling he'll be in the USHL with Sioux City. In my opinion even if he goes back for his senior season at Burnsville he'll be at Wisconsin in 2015.

Not sure if any of you guys plan on going to the Wisconsin state tournament this week at the Coliseum, but future Badger Tony Stillwell will be representing Notre Dame Academy.

Honeybaked 98 F Patrick Khodorenko is a kid to follow, if you're into that sort of thing. Recently listed UW, Michigan and Western Michigan as a couple potential options.

I'll be there tomorrow as my kid's school (Verona) is playing.

Hopefully they win and then I'll be in the mood to stay for ECM & ND - which should be a great matchup.

I plan on being there as well. The two early games should be outstanding. It's too bad they don't seed the tournament like Minnesota...NDA having to play Memorial in the quarterfinals is a travesty.
