Maybe nearly a minute of 5x3 will spark something here, but I dunno. That would go against the "take the day off" attitude they seem to have.

EDIT: Man they look terrible.

I don't think you have a clue how embarrassing it is to give up 4 goals to this Gopher team. You have to suck pretty hard to do it.

Well, that might be true, but Brett Bennett is trying to give up more big rebounds than shots faced. Don't tell him it's mathematically impossible, he's not listening.

Plus either the rest of the team is completely taking the day off at this point or we are suddenly legitimately very bad.

Regardless of the cause, they are sucking pretty hard today. Hence 4 (more coming?) goals against.

I'm not saying I'm happy about it. :D

What a disciplined team Wisconsin has. I guess college hockey is down this year if this is what you call #3. :rolleyes:

Actually, the penalty was Unsportsmanlike Conduct. After the whistle, there was a Gopher kneeling on the ice standing back up, and the Sconni player took a slash at him on his way to the bench.

I wish I could say that the Badgers are having a bad day. But it really has to do with the Gophers wanting this game a lot more than we do. Not a good way to go into the playoffs.
