After the game Eaves said if McCabe (laceration by ear) is unable to play tomorrow, Hartzog will fill in. I assume this is because Davison is going to redshirt.

Plus, I don't think Davison travels with the team.

Big Ten awards predictions? Think it'll be Dzingel, Zengerle, Kerdiles? D Reilly and? Wilcox goalie and player of the year? Reason I post here is you guys will know more about who should be up from your team (and the Big Ten thread is slow).

Freshmen I'd say Compher, Kloos, Fasching, Downing, Brevig, and not sure about a goalie.

It does at the 22 second mark. Great save and fun game to be at.

Havard goalie had a nice game and kept them in it big time.

Was that your group in the first row above the Zamboni tunnel?

I don't quite know what to make of yesterday's game since Zengerlee got tossed, and Soleway and McCabe didn't play, other than if msu doesn't start the back-up they probably win the game. Funny thing is that when I saw Hartzog was playing, I had this undeniable feeling he was going to score and he did. Should of bought a lottery ticket I guess. I only watched the first period so far, I don't know if I want to aggravate myself by watching the rest when I'm in such a cloud 9 over the gals game last night.

They didn't play bad the last 2 periods. MSUs first goal was a fluke, Simonelli tried to clear the puck on the PK and hit Mersch's head into the goal. Their second goal was more or less Rumpel napping. Their third goal was a snipe by Haag. I give it to MSU, they never give up. Game could have easily been a shutout or 1 goal against. Rumpel played well in my opinion, had sloppy moments though.

As for Zengerle's penalty, yeah it was a check from behind but like Eaves said postgame he never extended his arms. I'm just glad a struggling PK was able to kill it.



From what I saw on TV Munn looks like a dump.

Congrats to the ladies, go get the Gophers.

Munn did look dumpy, kinda looked like rink a HS team would play out of from the outside, or maybe worse depending on what HS rink you compared it too.

I thought the 5 on Zengerlee was not justified.

Probably not justified on severity of the hit, but was was late and way after he released the puck.

Anyone out there run all possible PWR scenarios? Lazy person asking.

I have ran a few. If UW wins the Big10 tourney they should get a #1 seed, but if they win friday, but lose on saturday, they will need some help. I just ran a scenario where Ferris losses to UAA, but if Quinipiac wins their tourney they could jump over UW.

Winning is always the answer, but I'm sure someone is looking at every option.

North Dakota needs to win at least one game or I think they won't make it. Weak showing for the NCHC.

Kick back, relax, and enjoy the lovely views from the confines of the ncaa tourney! No March Miracle needed this year. Enjoy it now because the next 2 years we will be back to sweating it out.
