Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol XXV: There's Hope! Or whatever...

Congratulations to Mike Eaves, his staff and the players. And THANK YOU! Sitting in the Resch Center against NMU there's NO WAY anyone would have thought this possible.

Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol XXV: There's Hope! Or whatever...

This weekend has been one of the coolest times to be a badger hockey fan.

I am so ****ing excited!

Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol XXV: There's Hope! Or whatever...

I've taught my two-year old to "raise the roof" for times like this. Woot woot!

Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol XXV: There's Hope! Or whatever...

Way to go Bucky!!!!
What an amazing comeback year.....let's continue it into the NCAAs.

Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol XXV: There's Hope! Or whatever...

Congratulations Bucksters. This is going to be a hard train to stop now.

I was on pins and needles. Couldn't even post in the game thread.

I'm a wreck. A happy wreck though.

Great tourney and great fun.

Trying to text my buddy who couldn't see the game, my hands were shaking so bad at the final whistle I could barely hit the right letters.

What an unbelievable run! How appropriate that the team we were rooting against all year to drop out of the TUC in CC we had to dispose of ourselves to get into the NCAA's...

Badgers have given every team for the next few years that starts their own season terribly some hope to get it together and still make the postseason.

"Oh Lord, it's Hard to be Humble, but we're doing the best that we can!"

Oh yeah, and Chuck...

You were spot on with Kerdiles.

I still don't think you want to count on freshmen as a habit, but **** if this kid didn't turn into a stud real quick.

Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol XXV: There's Hope! Or whatever...

My wife and I couldn't sit for the last 5 minutes. Absolutely amazing play by this team down the stretch. My daughters Christmas wish continues to come true....

Oh, and Kerdiles is a freak. Kid just has tons of skill and he has made a huge difference on the team.

Congrats on your title! Good Luck in the Tournament and See you next year in the Big Ten!

Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol XXV: There's Hope! Or whatever...

the best part at the end was when they posed for the team picture w/the trophy it sounded like 26 Ric Flairs out there! "WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol XXV: There's Hope! Or whatever...

Wisconsin's 50th season, the last year of the old WCHA, and a team we all counted out in December...

What a memorable performance down the stretch, winning 6 straight big, must win, games and capturing the Badger's 12th Broadmoor trophy!

I've said before, the tradition and magic of Wisconsin is that We Win Big Games. That great Wisconsin Hockey tradition continues!

Let's GO RED!!!

Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol XXV: There's Hope! Or whatever...

Two or three years between posts. Why not. Nice work UW. I was thinking .500 would have been a lofty goal in early December. Broadmoor? Never at the time.

What an 8 day run. UWEC in D3 and now Bucky.

Tech and UW messin' with WCHA trophy lore.

One hell of a ride so far. Tonight was hard on the ticker. Glad we'll never see Rylan Schwartz again.
