Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol XXV: There's Hope! Or whatever...

This reminded me of Christmas Vacation for some reason...

Nodak is your:

:D

For a guy with a plate in his head, Eddie has done right well. I'm sure he could spell minnesota or count to 3 (more often 1 or 2) with a senile old fart using flashcards.

Not to mention the fact that, like all us Nodaks, the man can fill up his polyester slacks. :)

Must spread...

I'm assuming we'll get the presence of Mr. Awesomeness himself, Greg, I make This Shiit up as I go, Shepard, on the ice calling the game.
I'm sure Shep's officiating philosophy is the same, but that quote is from the legendary Don Adam.

What a great run to the WCHA title game. If not for other obligations back here in Madison, I'd be up in St. Paul taking in the Wild game, going to the Badger pre-game party at Great Waters and then, hopefully, watch Wisconsin bring home the title. Hope a lot of Twin Cities alumni are coming out and will represent tonight.

Probably mentioned somewhere else already, but was a cool scene seeing the suite at the X with former Badger players (Heatley, Burish, Suter, Pavelski, Gilbert, etc) hanging out watching the game.

Let's go Badgers, let's just finish it off and let other teams sweat out the Pairwise.

Wow. That was truely funny.

Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol XXV: There's Hope! Or whatever...

I'm super pumped for tonight.

- paint thinner, check
- hatred of the CC Tigers (well...sorta, I'll just pretend it's the Swanson brothers out there w/Erik Rud and Lucia behind the bench!)
- DROP THE PUCK!

Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol XXV: There's Hope! Or whatever...

Just got done watching the Thur. and Fri. games. Anybody know if the old guy on the bench during the Mankato game is Eaves' dad Cecil? I have a hard time believing the NCAA would allow this, but was Walsh released? Either that or he sits in the booth because he wasn't on the bench for either game.

Walsh sits up in the booth, Shuey use to but now is behind the bench when Butters was let go.

Walsh sits in the press box with the video guy and a radio down to Shuey on the bench. I did notice an older gentleman on the bench this weekend but the press box is so far away I couldn't tell who it was. Associate AD Sean Frazier has been here all weekend and has been standing behind the bench.

He definitely wasn't Sean Frazier. This guy was in his mid 70's. He looked similar to Eaves except he was very bald. I'll try to take a pic from my tv.

Edit: I don't know how to post pics.

After the game tonight on FSN is the show "Becoming Wild". It features Tom Gilbert. I watched it after yesterdays game and it has some funny stuff, golfing with Burish and then showing his house. I think there are other times it will be on also.

The Strobel brothers were also in there.

holy sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!

Wisko McBadgerton had the right call all along. ****. great job this weekend, just incredible.

Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol XXV: There's Hope! Or whatever...

Congratulations Badger faithful! Nice to see that at least one team who wears red and white knows how to win at playoff time. Good luck wherever you head to and hope to see you in Pittsburgh.
