I was there wisko. Where were you? I found thehallucination to be somewhat objectionable but met a nice mavs fan before the game who never came back to chat after.

I was on the boat. :(

But I listened on my my fancy communicator device. Hopefully you guys spent a fortune so that there's no problem getting the final on TV Saturday night after we take down the Cloudies tomorrow afternoon.

Immediately aftter the game Shuey was on the air talking about how they didn't play that well. Good. Obviously some guys played pretty well, but I don't think we want to be giving up 9 pp tomorrow. Let's just move our feet and roll lines and Jan will go the way of the Mooos.

I made friends with the Wisconsin born manager Jason so we are all good. Don't know why you are talking about Saturday when there's a big ole game tomorrow. Get on that boat and get over here!

Way too many penalties, a couple were questionalble.

Dahlie Gretzky was awesome. He coulda had 4 with a pipe and a waveoff that was clearly a goal, though I don't know if he actually touched the puck or not. They have to stay out of the box tomorrow.

Barnes was also awesome, a pipe a away from a hattie. He's just playing so much better right now, driving the net, using great vision. Kerdiles is always open on the weak side and Zengerlee and Barnes both are getting the puck to him.

Rumps played very well.

great win despite being a somewhat uneven effort (MOVE YOUR FEET GUYS!), hopefully they take it to the malamutes...er huskies tomorrow and face-off against nodak or the rats for all the marbles saturday!

Watching live and the replay, I didn't think Rammer's hit was a penalty at all. Then I watched it frame by frame: http://i.imgur.com/zfbZQwA.jpg

He didn't bring an elbow up, or intentionally make contact with the head...but as the image shows, there most definately was contact with the head.

I watched a portion of the UND CC game and a UND player made almost the exact same hit and they called it, although only a 2min. I think the severity of the impact caused the refs to make the call even though technically both hits looked good.

I thought it was at most a 2 min penalty when I saw it live. That being said, it was to the head (after further review) and I am not surprised it was a 5.

Does the CC win mean we should cheer (hack cough) for the gophers tomorrow night to ensure no matter what happens CC can't steal a spot? Obviously we should just win the tournament to take the guess work out of it.

I think if he doesn't follow throught with the forearm and just rams him, it's not a penalty. A 5 for charging is the totally the wrong call in that situation. And the embellisnment call on McCabe? I've never seen a embellishment called on a crosscheck before. I didn't get a real good look at it, was it embellished?
