Games tonight and tomorrow night on FS Wisconsin Plus with TV call by Brian Posick. So no need to try and coordinate streams tonight!

Showing as being on BTN2Go as well for those of us outside of Wisconsin!

With a heavy heart, Gameday!!

Will be interesting to see how Coach Sauer is honored both tonight and moving forward.

I'm sure MSU will do something, but there should be a very nice, well planned out ceremony at KC next weekend.

(Anybody else have this crud going around? I'm "sick" maybe once a year. It's the ****ing nastiest cold I've ever had and it's been hanging on since Sunday. Good evening to stay home and watch Bucky.)

Going around our school. Playdowns this weekend, half of both the Peewee A and B team has been sick at some point in the last 2 days.

Let me tell you a story...had a cold for just about a month December-January. Started out as a loose heavy cough, was like that for a good week. Then the cough lightened and my nose was plugged solid for a week, not the sinuses, just the nose. NO drug could clear it. I'd blow it, it would fill right back in. Then about a week after started, it faded into a slow drop in the back of my throat. I could not taste food for 2 weeks. Of course the Dr. said it's just a cold, so no antibiotics.

Sauer....couple of funny stories circulation Twitter about him getting a penalty while in a bathroom between periods and one about him advising a young fella how to drink at a party in a hotel room and not get drunk.

The lads have to dispose of MSU this weekend, must wins to sustain momentum. Do it for Coach.

I recall those days and they were horrible. One player would get sick and 2 days later the entire team(s) and anybody else in contact would get it. Those dark, moist locker rooms don't help!

Re: Wisconsin Hockey, Vol II: Rebuild, Refresh, and Renew!

I also saw, via their Twitter feed, that the women's hockey team is wearing the same patch. He was a big supporter of the program early on.

Re: Wisconsin Hockey, Vol II: Rebuild, Refresh, and Renew!

14-8-1...wow! G2O really has this team turning the corner.

I hope Tim Davison is ok, I missed the first period, what happened to him?

Re: Wisconsin Hockey, Vol II: Rebuild, Refresh, and Renew!

He took a knee-to-knee hit for which the Mich. St. player got ejected. He left the game, but it seemed like it wasn't as bad as it could have been. The feed on BTN2Go was really bad on my end though so it was hard to say for sure (it was like I was watching a hockey game on an 80s TV). Hopefully he won't miss too much time.

FYI, Fox Sports Go also streams games that are on FSN Wisconsin, and I have found their stream much smoother than BTN2Go. Only drawback is you can't pause/rewind/restart the stream like you can on BTN2Go.

Re: Wisconsin Hockey, Vol II: Rebuild, Refresh, and Renew!

Not happy with the low SOG, the crappy 3rd period and the 1 SOG on on the 5 on 3. Good that it was a win though.

An email from a friend...

I wonder where the Badgers would be if they hadn't lost those two ridiculous games to Northern Michigan where they dominated for 2.5 periods and still lost.

It's a good question. Does anyone have up an RPI calculator where you can change game-by-game results? I know I've seen one in years past.

They are currently 17th...

If they would've won one of those losses, they'd be 10th.

If they would've won both of them, they'd be 6th.

Ouch.

In my opinion, that is the problem with the PWR. While it is a superior system to what the NCAA BB Committee does, the swing in a teams rankings based on just one game seems too drastic when compared to the full "body of work" over an entire season.

Yep! It looked like they were happy with that big lead, but I sometimes give the other team credit. MSU could've rolled over. Any win on the road is good.

I thought it was a class act for MSU Coach Anastos to wear the "Coach JS" patch.

I'm looking forward to listening to the radio special at 4:00, then hunkering down for another eve of Badger hockey.
