Wisconsin Hockey Vol I: Dawn of the Fifth Age of UW Hockey!

I would trust you more than my co-worker. Or I shouldn't trust what I remember! Anyway, maybe he knew they didn't get along, who knows. I do clearly recall him saying not so nice things about Skille's metal capacity. He was shocked he got into UW. It could just be my source too. He may have been a straight A student! :)

Safe to say kessel ended up ten times better off

What the **** are you talking about? Because he was a goofer and got whacked by Holy Cross?? No wonder you've got a bright red stripe.

Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol I: Dawn of the Fifth Age of UW Hockey!

No because he has made about 80 million and Skille struggles to play regular

And you are attributing that to the coaching they each received in their brief collegiate careers as opposed to natural talent, work ethic or something else? Seems like a stretch to me.

That is Brian Posick, Badgers radio play-by-play guy. The person who uploaded that clip put the radio call with the tv feed.

I spent a good part of last night trying to get my recording of this game (along with the Frozen Four semi and final, in HD) off of my old DVR. Never get tired of watching those games. Hope I can get the recordings off so I can make them available to others.

Please do.

Bonus points if you can find any instances of the Crease Creatures singing "Lights" or "Total Eclipse of the Heart".

I echo these sentiments.

I have probably 50 games from 1988-2004 on tape. If anyone wants to convert these to dvd take it to the next level, let me know. It's always been a goal of mine to convert these, but time escapes me.

I'd buy dvd burns of some of the games from you😀

Also, if no-one here can do the transfers I know sooper sooper in Madison can convert and for a reasonable cost

Was that Buccigross with the PxP?

Not even close. If it were Buccigross it not only would have been awful but also would have worked in an element of shameless self-promotion. These things should be obvious. Plus it sounds nothing like Buccigross so I have no idea in hell what you're smokin' at.

Anyone else excited for the NHL draft coming up on the 24th? Looking forward to seeing where Kunin adds up. He is projected in the mid-20's, which is good for UW. An already good team should be drafting him and have some patience with him. I am hoping to have at least one more year with him at UW. He is a lot of fun to watch.

Side note

Jost is projected top 10
Fabbro is projected top 15

What could have been.....

Let me know how much storage you're talking about and I can send you a hard drive to throw them onto and I would work on something like that.

I think if he's there at 15 and Tyson Jost/Logan Brown have been picked then the Minnesota Wild will select Kunin.

Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol I: Dawn of the Fifth Age of UW Hockey!

It sucks that the NHL isn't playing a possible final game on a Saturday night. I understand the travel thing blah, blah, but they aren't taking horses and buggies 3000 miles, guys.

What would be epic?

How about an NHL game 6, live on Saturday night on terrestrial NBC, where even people with "rabbit ears" (look it up, young uns) could watch. Yes it will be on terrestrial NBC the next 2 games, (#7 if possible) and they aren't late, but tonight would've been awesome, with friends, popcorn, and some Riverwest Stein at our sides.
