VERY interesting. Maybe Eaves is weary that 1-9-2 (a plausible enough outcome) will be insurmountable in terms of making the NCAA's or a WCHA top 5.

I just hope if he plays he doesn't injure himself further

Interesting indeed. I was told last week that he was shooting for the Tech series next week, so this would be a nice surprise if he could go.

At yesterday's presser even...Eaves was saying they were hoping to get a stick in his hands this week and that in a couple of weeks he would be a 'maybe'.

Listening to a sound bite from Eaves and it sounds like Zengerle won't play Friday and Saturday will be wait-and-see. Better than nothing, I suppose. Will be turning on NBC Sports Channel Friday night to check out Kerdiles and see if the Badgers can play with some pride.

Sorry to interrupt the thread but could you guys remind me where the visiting fans typically sit. Is it 106-107 or 121-120?

I'm sure someone will be along with specifics, but in general we're expecting to play some guys who are having trouble putting the puck in the net, and pairing them with some other guys who are having similar trouble stopping the other team from doing so. At least I think that's the plan? :confused:

Thanks, tickets have been purchased to make my return to the Kohl Center. Wonder if the student section will still remember me ;)

Zulinick is out with the thigh injury and Zengerle is doubtful but could possibly go Saturday.

Will the goalie decision be made (at least publically) later today? If Zengerle goes Saturday, who is out of the line-up?

I'd pull Paape out of the line-up.

Dahl on a line with Barnes and Kerdiles? Umm.....

Goalie decision is rarely public until a few hours before the game.

If Zengerle is in, one of Navin, Paape, or S. Little are out.

I'm not sure about these line combos. I would rather see Woods centering Kerdiles and Barnes, but I'm not the coach, just a guy typing my opinions about Badger Hockey.

A little confused on this end....but for a team with scoring issues, why are you putting Dahl between Kerdiles and Barnes??

With a broken finger,what kind of difference will one more day make? I'd have him sit the whole weekend, why take a chance.

How long is Zulinick going to be out for? Any prognosis? I'd would be great to be at full strength for the next series.

I would like to think they would. However, my last two years in the student section made me very pessimistic about good traditions surviving. I wish we could return to the first half or so of the '00 decade. But I will still hope that the crowd can get the "Husky Husky" chant going for old times sake. (and not add the word d-i-c-k to the end of it) Enjoy your return :)

I don't know about the students, but you were directly across from me and my eyes haven't been right since. :)
