It doesn't do ONE bit of good as long as other people keep quoting the idiots. Then I'd have to put everyone who quotes them on ignore and that would make for quite the dull thread.

I asked this before but I'm not sure I got an answer. Any idea what happened to Con?

He's got some other (good) things going on in his life so he doesn't spend quite as much time on hockey as he has in previous years.

Glad to hear it. I was concerned, but I didn't want to be nosy.

Was reminded of him lately. I've been cleaning up some video recordings I have, and there he was, in his sombrero, at the 2006 Regional.

I use Soccer. Soccer sucks and only pansies play it. :D

My saying was, "If it was easy, everyone would be doing it and it would be called soccer".

Though soccer is a good off season activity. Especially 5 on 5 soccer.

Good. I was afraid that he'd been abducted by aliens. Aliens thirsty to understand this "nacho" phenomenon we have on Earth.

I am going to go out on a limb and say Stephan has a REALLY hard slapshot!!
His shot dented Geoffrion's facemask...:eek: which the puck went purfectly to street who hit Davies for the nice backdoor goal.

Wait a minute... Geoffrion had that all planned out, dang he good:D

I say Geoffrion for Hobey; not Smith.

Davies has incredible hand eye coordination.

When is the real Derek Stepan going to come back from the World Jr. tourney?

Only 1 even strength goal in the last 3 games for UW. Not a good trend. Thank goodness the PP has awakened.

I only caught a little of the 3rd period of SSM and "kind of" forgot to watch for him :o . (I can tell you the Lake Forest Academy team is ****ing huge and played SSM to a tie). I got talking to some people I only see about once a year. I didn't want to get up and drive to Cap Ice for the 8 AM game Saturday.....**** I've gotta sleep sometime.

I made it a point to watch the Chicago Mission to see Schmaltz. He wasn't there, but he's currently with the USA U-17 team for the weekend (Ontario, right?) I've got to subscribe to the 60 min blog to stay on top of things.

You better tell her not to write "I don't like hockey" on that cardboard or no guy will pick her up. ;)

They can learn to like it. When I starting dating this great girl who eventually became my wife, she didn't know hockey even existed. She's not as nearly as crazy about it as I am, but she goes to games with me and she's intersted in how the team is doing. When I suggested we have our boys do the learn to skate program and then youth hockey, she jumped right in enthusiastically. It's funny, she still to this day doesn't understand offsides. She's the best. :)
