You’re right, it’s not the same.

Far as I can tell, no personnel at Minnesota ever stood silently while (to give the generous interpretation) no consequences happened for years after they reported heinous acts of rape and child molestation that occurred over a time span of decades.

Consequently, I don’t think there are any mongoloid gopher fans in existence who have therefore had to circle the wagons and complain that any negative attention to said personnel is unfair or that said personnel is any way a mistreated victim in such a scenario.

So yeah, if anything were being unfair to our westerly rivals with that comparison.

Don’t want to be called Ped State? Tough rocks. Everyone who continued to support Scott Paterno’s useless father can shove their 409 stickers into the circle of hell where they belong with everything else associated with that man. I still can’t believe there was an outroar because someone called it inappropriate for your hockey team to celebrate that pathetic man, but terrible sports fans will be terrible sports fans.

I have no idea where either team is headed. The 2 youngest teams in the NCAA. What should we expect this weekend; Sweep? Split? Or worse? Both teams have been down for a number of years and both fan bases are ****ed.

But we aren't even mad at each other! What the ****?

I miss the specific game threads where we used to tear new *******s into each other, talk about their mothers and sisters, the name calling like rats, skunks, drunks, deer ****ers, etc.

The games are on FOX North/FOX WI so unless something has changed we'll get the MN announcers. That means I'll be syncing the radio with DirecTV.

I'm not getting soft with age, but college hockey is better when the Badgers and the gerbil rejects are very good.

The Gophers aren't very good so you should be hoping for a split at the minimum.

Our new play by play announcer is 1000x better than the last one by the way so not a reason to listen to the radio.

I extend an olive branch (I used PSU instead of PED STATE) with sarcasm and this ********** STILL has a bug up his ***.

We've never had a knuckle-dragging-mouth-breathing hillbilly come here, but now we do. (Not even Ohio State fan can claim that....with all respect Buckeye fan. ;))

Sooo, I second the motion by solo; call your mommy upstairs from your basement cell, and ask her for more Cheetos and Grape Crush. Then with your orange stained fingers, tap, tap, tap, on your Windows 1.0 box, join the Gopher's thread with the same attitude and get the same treatment.

Whether he knew in the 70s, the late 90s, or in 2001… he knew. And in his own words he should have done more.

If that’s because he was ignorant, ineffectual or flat out evil isn’t for me to say, but nothing of any genuine consequence happened for at least one decade after he (and many others at PSU) knew.

You’re free to disavow <that>, if you like.

Just don’t expect that little self-contained opinion bubble to expand outside of Happy Valley and don’t tell any of us what to think.

lol I think earlier when I called Joe Paterno a piece of chit, that would qualify as a disavow

But I'm not telling you what to think. I am telling you what some of you need to know. Anyone referring to PSU as Ped State is offending many good people and is a scumbag. All this over a little triggering because a fan of another team entered the thread. One who was not talking any smack whatsoever (until of course the Ped State)

Could care less about a thread on USCHO (lol ohh boy) or a few national titles that are ancient history.

You can't compete really anymore in the new dynamic and more recently have had win totals of 4(!) and 8, those are Alaska-Anchorage win totals, bro

But I said before I will stay until you and your fan base have been taught some manners and class.
