This tournament needs to land on a Friday and Saturday, period. That’s the only way badger hockey will draw flies in Milwaukee and trust me, the Journal will give scant coverage. I mean I was in bars in 2006 and watched the Cornell game. Hardly anyone knew Wisconsin could be in the FF in just 2 weeks later.

So does the ticket prices... I know it's two games per session, but in the presale today, two tickets in the sections on the side of the ice are $189 after ticketbastard fees, the next tier down in price in the lower bowl are $133 a pair. And that's just one session. Makes me appreciate my $24 Kohl Center seats!

You and I don't agree a lot, but I can say pretty confidently, we both wish we weren't getting the playoff refund!

RIGHT-O! So not only do you get to pay $66.50 for the cheap seats, have to take off of work to watch the early games (a negative on the income), probably pay $20.00 to park, you get to watch a UW team gutted of the shiney toys you would want to see play. And then consider with the Monday/Tuesday thing you have killed any chance for the non WI fans to come and watch in any sort of good amount at all. This makes no sense.

What is really sad is before I saw the Monday/Tuesday and the cost of the tickets, I though about going for a day. No way.

If the Badgers keep playing with heart (like they should have been doing all year), this team can, and I will say should win the Big Ten tourney. They got the most talent.

I'm guessing they wont under the current administration. But they should.

People have been blaming the players alot on here... like they are spoiled and lazy and don't care. But these are 20 year old kids. And 20 year old kids are impressionable. And leadership matters. If you look at the last 2 weeks after the alumni gave their speeches, these kids have played great. What does that tell you? Tells me that the alumni have been able to get these kids to play hard but Granato hasn't been able to. Its freaking night and day the difference it makes when this team plays with heart and belief.

Can we all take a moment for our annual disbelief that the Big Ten Network, which was promised to bring us unprecedented coverage of Big Ten Hockey, isn’t carrying any of the games in the first round of their own conference’s year-end tournament? What. The. Hell???
