I would predict for this weekend 5–2, 6-3 scores. It will look closer to OSU series than Michigan. Ped State has Wisconsin’s number and UW can’t score in bunches like psu.

Gawd, I hope not. If we aren't going to score many goals, it would be awesome for Lebby to "Finnish" them off scoreless. (Being a goalie dad, I never use the "S" word.) With the Peltonen's incoming next year, unless I missed something, it's too bad Ranta flunked English even though he speaks very well (Bitter much?) . We'd all be forced to learn Finnish

I’m a pessimist I know. But PSU has carpet bombed UW of late.

I’m hoping they make it competitive. Not having Weissbach is a killer.

Next year...Turcotte, Holloway, Lindmark and Caulfield will have UW lighting it up like PSU has been.

Btw, I must admit when I see PSU home games on tv i’m Jealous of their fans getting to bring in signs and go nuts.

I most likely won’t catch more than a period of each game since family is in town but i’m going to put a dollar on top of the tv to buy a goal!


God I miss Howie on TV.

With the BB game on at the same time, I wonder if a lot of people will stay home and watch both games.

I'm heading out as soon as Mrs.MadCity gets home at any minute...looks like a Kwik Trip dinner while moving tonight. I've got a commitment with the Capitols tomorrow so I'll be streaming BTN2GO while at Cap Ice.

Have fun at the Caps game! I’ve never been to one. I bet they’re fun.
 
After 1, pretty good period, but outshot by a little as expected. If they played like this all the time I wouldn't be such a beeotch. They were running around a little at the 7:00 mark when Ped St scored. The guy that scored, Pavlychev, is 6'8" and I swear he has an 8' twig and a matching wing span.

Sparse crowd. The students are trying, but it's quite dead.

Just gotta get the puck out clean this period. Getting it back a lot and then giving it up. Can't get trapped on a long shift with the long change here. Let's go Boys!

Yeah. They get stuck in the zone far too often. They just seem like a much smaller team and get out worked by the Ped St molesters.

Sorry to post during play....2 breakaways 0 goals. Gorns had the guy beat but missed high. Jones never moved.

Granato should just put Miller and Kalynuck on the same forward line. The forwards we got now are having a hard time just catching a pass.

The PP is absolutely awful. Offsides twice on the same power play.

There have definitely been some flashes of good play though.

I'm generally not one to cry about calls but that one on Inamoto was terrible. Inamoto might have thought about cross checking but he never even touched the guy. That on top of washing out a goal and I'm not a fan.

Need a kill and keep getting it out clean. We can obviously get it behind them and rush if we do. Been a pretty good hockey game, let's finish it boys!
 
Very entertaining game, too bad thousands are missing the action!

IMO, the only difference is the breakaways. 2 for 2 vs. 0 for 2.

NCAA shootouts are painful to watch. Just agony. A coin flip would be better than college hockey shootouts. I have yet to see one that I found satisfying.
