CC wasn't really able to figure out goody either so we will see what happens this weekend but Howe has seemed to come down to earth a little bit and he is facing a completely different lineup then last time...

I just gotta say one thing quick about no TV this weekend, I'm use to FS wisconsin not doing any road games, its pathetic but i get it, but with Denver off this weekend why didn't FS Rocky Mountain pick up these games???

Because FS Rocky Mountain has a contract to do DU games and knows that CC Sucks! :) Seriously though, I am also disappointed that there is no TV for this series. I haven't looked to see what FS RM is broadcasting, but I know they have a contract to show DU hoops as well (like DU hoops is worthy of television. :rolleyes: ).

That's because Culver's serves FROZEN CUSTARD, not ice cream! :D . (Much smoother & much tastier! Trust me; 20 LBs too much around the gut.);)

vw......DU also has a D-1 lacrosse program as well. Another lesson learned.

Unfortunately, the bottom of the barrel professional bounceyball and whatever lame Poker tour of D-list celebrities and general D***** bags they're showing (Poker isn't even a sport!) probably get much higher ratings than college hockey, even when UW is doing well. It's a matter of $$. It's surprising that they do buy rights from Wisconsin Public TV for any of the UW hockey home games. I do miss the days when they played WAY more UW games though. Seems that after we won the NC in '06 the number of games they showed went way down. Until UW can figure out how to turn men's hockey into a full on revenue sport like football or basketball, we'll never get consistent broadcast coverage.

It was Barry Alverezes bright idea to step back from TV to try to sell more tickets, yeah that worked eh??? What a idiot

Mike Testwuide may want to keep his head up this weekend, specially when McDonagh is on the ice, hahahaha

haha yeah and it can't be good for recruiting either. a Program like Wisconsin should have EVERY home game on TV and most road games. But it is what it is, a lot of people on here put the blame on the networks which does deserve some of the blame but it hasn't been a high priority with the people at Kelner Hall in recent years. Maybe another national championship will wake them up considering football and basketball will never win one...

Ha... UW basketball boosters would never admit it.

BTW... the Blackhawks analogy is PERFECT. Someone should tell Barry that if he wants to emulate $$ Wirtz that its a LONG journey to the fiery pits of hell.

DU has won 20 NCAA ski titles (5 in the last decade), more than any other school. Colorado is second with 16 titles, Utah 10, UVM 5, Dartmouth 3, Wyoming 2 and New Mexico 1. About 22 teams qualified for the NCAA Championship meet last year. D-I hockey schools sponsoring skiing are DU, UAA, Vermont, Dartmouth, UNH, Northern Michigan, UAF, Harvard, St. Lawrence and Michigan Tech.

No one I know has ever been to a DU ski meet.

Looks like my prediction wasn't too far off!!! :D

Badgers looked great tonight. Every aspect of their game looked solid. We had great fan support at the game tonight...many times we were louder than the CC fans.

Oh, first time CC was shut out in a game in over 100 games!!! Gud' was amazing tonight.
