I see they have an official announcement on the website now. Are players still allowed to wear other brands if they choose. I know they can be very particular about what brands they like, especially skates.

One would think so, like if they had a personal NIL deal with another brand. On the other hand, who knows.

I see Daoust has come back. Still have my 301's I bought in the 1980's. Haven't used them much in the last 20 years. Only a few times for my granddaughters birthday party and a couple of her school field trips.

Usually these agreements are for 100% of players on helmets/pads, 90% on sticks and skates.

Concur, I'm sure the contract excludes them from NIL for helmets/pads. Jerseys are U/A as I remember, but I would imagine, unless a high falutin player that is just so dedicated to CCM/Warrior comes in with a 1st round top 15 NHL draft pick pedigree, they would be more than happy to select from the best that Bauer has to offer in skates and sticks for free
