Re: Wisconsin Badgers 2017-2018

Driving over to Camp Randall this morning, I was thinking "Wait a minute... this guy's a Gopher fan! Whaddaya doin'?!?"

Now that I have seen co-operation between Gopher Fans and Badger fans, maybe there is hope for co-operation between the USA and N Korea.

Re: Wisconsin Badgers 2017-2018

Hi, I'm glad I found this forum. I'm a UW fan in MN who's starting to really get into women's hockey the last couple years. I've seen them six times now at Ridder and hope to see them again in a couple weeks! For streaming for Saturday, is it best to look on uwbadgers.com, or ncaa or maybe btn2go? I hope to find a weekend in the fall to come to Madison to catch as many women and men's hockey and volleyball as I can, maybe on a football weekend, by looking at the UW composite schedule. I'm glad to see UW fans pretty active on here, I've found that on a volleytalk forum as well which has been awesome. I tried to make a similar post a couple days ago and it didn't' go through (just registered recently), so I hope this works.

On the women's hockey page at uwbadgers.com you'll find a link to a video stream (when it becomes available) one of two places: on the season schedule page "details" for Saturday's game; and/or in an article yet to come that will be "Five things to know" about the game. But as I said, the link isn't there yet.

What/where is the forum for volleyball?

Re: Wisconsin Badgers 2017-2018

There hasn't been any announcement about the video stream yet, but historically all of the NCAA Quarterfinal games have been available on a free stream. I'm sure it will be listed on both the NCAA and UW websites once it is sorted out.

Last year the Badgers QF game was shown on WI Public Broadcasting - both on tv and streaming - but I'm guessing that's not very likely this year.

http://volleytalk.proboards.com/thread/71884/wisconsin-badgers-2018-official is the Badger's specific thread (and there are lots of other threads too, just like this forum). There is a different thread for last year's season/team. 44 Pages worth starting from the end of the 2017 season that ended in December!

And while I was typing that, the "Five things" article showed up (on my tablet, but not on my desktop, oddly), with the streaming link at BTN2go

Google Volley Talk. Then there are sections for Women's, and then there is a Badger's specific 2018 thread (and there are lots of other threads too, just like this forum). There is a different thread for last year's season/team. 44 Pages worth starting from the end of the 2017 season that ended in December! I tried posting the exact link but it didn't go through, maybe I don't have permission or maybe a moderator has to approve ?

44 pages, for a season that doesn't even start until August?!? (not counting the couple April games they play.)

Thanks.

How about we start with Republicans and Democrats first? LOL.

I called the ticket office as the inbox was devoid of any correspondence from UW.....my tickets got sent to will call by accident, so I will indeed get them before the game.

I would have assigned 2 reasonable and simple conditions to helping Eeyore out. 1) You can wear any color other than maroon and/or yellow to the game, 2) No spelling out-loud in the building.

Hopefully UW takes care of #2 on their own.

So he could wear antique gold? http://www.helmethut.com/College/Minnesota/UM7275.html

The helmet might also provide protection from rabid badgers.;)

I don't understand the color thing but I do get the 'no spelling' bit. Literacy is hard for a badger to witness ;)

I predict another Gopher victory. And TA, keep an eye out for Williamson, she has been dynamite. And if you think you are hearing a gun shot, that will be a Zumwinkle slapper.

Slapper? Or, maybe her snap shot is also that good?

Or, maybe you intended the post just as it appears. A Zumwinkle goal does tend to sap the will of the opponent.;)
