Be better than the Canadian players you are competing against to be the apples of Johnson's eyes.....I don't care where they are from, I want a N/C. The rodents have virtually an entire roster from that state, less their starting goalie who is Canadian and 4 other players from IL, MI and OK.

there will be another next year, and she's already scored her first collegiate goal :)

Umm, what are you implying?

To add insult to injury last Friday, I hit a deer with my car on the drive into Mad City. At the moment I was happy the car still driveable (though it had $2000 worth of damage), but in retrospec I wish the car had not been not driveble......

Both Bemiji and UW are looking for bounce back weekends. I sure would like to see 2 comfortable, dominate wins.

not implying anything, just stating a fact
it's a good sign when a college recruit has scored her first collegiate goal before even joining the team

sorry to hear about your car
the only deer I ever hit was in Cheeseland on my way to Leinenkugal's Brewery
luckily it was while driving a Fiero, the front was low enough to slide under it's belly
no damage to car, I think the thing had a broken leg judging from watching it try to run

POE, A college prep school in British Columbia
they've played Mercyhurst, RIT so far, and Bemidji later this year

last year played UND

but considering that you guys lost one of your recruits this year, I'm not going to mention it again until she actually shows up on campus

I know exactly what that's like.... literally.

The last time I hit a deer I was also driving to a Badger women's hockey game, and they were also playing Minnesota. I'm pretty sure it was even in October, but October of 2006. Nailed a beautiful 10 pointer on Fish Hatch on the south end of Fitchburg. The difference, I did total the car - which I'd only had for about 6 months - and even worse, I missed the game because of it!

And according to the Bemidji SID as of last night, it wasn't. The SID was apparently wrong and didn't know their own games were streamed until someone informed them. I was never disputing what the internet said, just passing on the info I'd been given so folks weren't upset/disappointed.

Ouch to say the least. So do you recall if UW won the game or not? Afterall, that's what is important, right?!

Well, the gals sure did shell the BSU goalies, too bad a few more didn't get in. We kinda had this issue last year, but it's good to see the Fr F's all scoring this weekend.

I am very intrigued about the sue series. They apparently played pretty pathetically in the 2nd game against the rodents after a pretty even game the 1st game.

They actually didn't play as bad as the stats might suggest. It's just that the Gophers were unbelievable. In his post-game comments, Coach Frost said the Gophers played their best game "in years". I'm not sure how many years he was including in that statement, but I agree with any number he wanted to include.

I had wanted to stop by here & offer this earlier but my account was screwed up & I had to start all over. Sorry for the delay.
We have been to Madison the last 2 years for the MN games and I am just blown away by the folks at Labahn. Seriously, the nicest bunch of folks I have ever run into in "enemy territory" one even offered us a ticket when the guy that had ours did not show up when we expected. There was not doubt I was not a Badger fan so it was too kind.

While it was obvious that they inflate the attendance I don't think the folks at Ridder are any louder and the joint was rocking both nights. It was great fun & would have been even if the right team had not won ;)

Best of luck against the Whouix - watch out for #4, a real goon, she even took a referee down on purpose while skating from the box to her bench.
