I'm pretty certain they don't. I haven't done a hard search myself, but I know of some other guys who have been looking for them, and also can't find any for sale.

That's what I thought as well, or that they only allow them to be available to family members.
They are not on sale @ Labahn, Bucky's Lockeroom or the UW Bookstore. Why wouldn't UW not want to be selling these? It's just one more item to make some coin on and the UW surely would like more money in the coffers. I'd probably get 2 or maybe 3, one for myself and one my daughter for sure, and then one possibly for my wife. Perhaps the 2 sons might want them as well. I'm proud to be a UW women's hockey fan and I'd love for the whole world to know it by what I wear.
I just emailed the Bucky's Lockeroom Manager, so I'll get an answer straight from the source.
I also just emailed Mike Leckrone and Paul Hickman (director of women's hockey operations) about having the band at the UW women's games more often (or always like I requested). I suspect Leckrone will brush me off until maybe the school year is done, but I am hoping Paul responds as this is the offseason for him.

Hickman has nothing to do with the band. He works directly with the team operations (travel, equipment, etc). You should try getting a hold of someone in marketing or event management.

We will have the replica jersey available for sale this fall at LaBahn and the Kohl Center. The ones you have seen around must either be game worn jerseys that people have got their hands on, or the version we did about 5 years ago. It has been a struggle to convince adidas to get them made again for retail sales aagin, but we were finally able to do it for the upcoming season.

I think Adidas has been missing out on this for some time. They probably just assumed that there was no demand for whatever reason. While relatively simple, I really like the women's jersery and just have to figure out whether I want to go with home white or road red.

Good work on finding out that information on the jerseys. I've always thought it was strange that they didn't offer those jerseys. I've seen a lot more obscure clothing on sale at Bucky's.
I'll be very interested to what you hear about the band. It's my understanding that the athletic department doesn't/can't dictate when and where they go, so it's up to the band and their leadership how often they attend women's hockey. The only time I've ever seen Leckrone at a women's hockey event, it was for a NCAA celebration reception. That spoke volumes to me...

It isn't like 300 people show up for these games, isn't the average attendance at games just about 2000? I can see a couple hundred getting sold easily, and with all the $ UW makes for Adidais, one would have thought they'd be willing to do these for UW without much complaint.

What Jersey are they talking about that was available 5 years ago? The only Women's jersey I can think of that has ever been available was the Camp Randall jersey, where they did an auction for the game-used ones. I've always thought the home white with red W is a good looking sweater, but I've never seen it sold anywhere.
I'm going to take a believe it when I see it approach to the promise that they'll have the Women's jersey available next year.
Interestingly, this isn't just a UW issue. I thought the gold alternate that the Minnesota women used this past year was a great jersey. I emailed the company that has been making authentic-quality replica Gopher jerseys to see if they'd ever think about making it available, and they told me they were interested, and others had asked about it, but the U refused to give them permission to make it.

Doing a little prelim research for a road trip this upcoming season, it looks like Mankato is the closest (timewise) after Minneapolis. Not knowing much about the city layout in rodentsota, I thought perhaps Duluth would be the next closest. Interestingly, Columbus and Bemiji are just about the same, 8 hrs, with Grand Forks only 1 hr further away. We're targetting Mankato so we could say hi to Fabio, one of thier coaches. He actually personally invited us when we chatted in the concourse during the playoffs. It would be funny to show up there. I'm sure he'd remember my cape wearing son. We'd be more inclined to sit behind the UW bench than the kato one. Anyway, it's only 1 take on gas to get there in the fuel sipping Focus. Now we just have to patiently wait for the schedule to come out.

Unofficially in Mankato 1/30 (7pm); 1/31 (3pm).
They will likely still be playing at All Seasons, but may be at the Verizon Center if the bond funding gets approved. Verizon Center has a walkway from the Hilton downtown so you may want to wait to make reservations.
