I'm trying to imagine the circumstances that would lead me to root for North Dakota over anyone in the WCHA. I suppose if it meant the difference between the Gophers making the NCAA tournament I'd have to think about it.

You dragged me into it, implying my posts were just a bunch of recycled crap, whilst inserting poor innocent Bucky into the mix, so I didn't think it was grade A response, maybe a C. I purely making an observation of Goldy's housekeeping apparatus. How else is a gopher that large gonna get all that crap out of their hole anyway? I give Goldy a ton of credit, that machine is a great tool for that.

I know it hurts you to admit if the UW hadn't been missing 2 of their 5 best players (including Rigsby), the season would look a whole lot different than it does now. It would be a much more fair fight for the top of the league, the rodents are practically winning by default.

Well...I guess it's most fortunate I don't consider your critique that of an expert then.

Actually...what I was contemplating was the absurdity of your post in addition to your convenient ignoring of last season's results when said players and a couple others of significance were in the lineup. Keep on believing what you're spreading TA!

I think the reality is somewhere in the middle if the Badgers were at full strength (but they aren't which makes things kind of moot). It's not a stretch to say that Wisconsin would probably be at least 8 points better in conference (assuming a sweep of Bemidji & Mankato, a split at Duluth and a point at Minnesota). So the Gophers are still in first place by 5-6 points. At least the conference title would still be in play versus the runaway it is now.

Big series this weekend. This is UW's chance to bury the Whioux for good and stay ahead of OSU, who are poised to sweep St. Cloud and solidify their ncaa position.

North Dakota is going to in near desparation mode this weekend and I'm guessing they'll play that way. Not sure how many more losses they can afford. Any word on Madison Packer's status? She went off the ice in a lot of pain Saturday night and didn't come back.

Thanks. I went to the UW website to find it (found it) and I don't get channel 302. Not that there was much to watch anyway. I didn't see a shutout coming, that's for sure.

Comcast will let you buy that channel on a pro rated basis...@ about $10.00 a month for the package that includes it so you can order for the game and cancel the following day. Pay a few bucks to watch it is all. If you have Comcast...don't know about other providers.

With the Gophers on tap for next weekend, tonight's game is starting to drift into must win territory. In their 7 losses, Badgers have scored 2 goals. Not per game, but total. I'm virtually positive that being shutout 5 times is a season record.

Wisconsin with the 2-1 win tonight. Packer with the late third period breakaway goal. That was a big win. Nice to see Josephs tally a goal. Hopefully more to come from her.

Let's gear up for the Gophers!

Funny - MetroCast, in New Hampshire has this as part of our package, so I was able to watch both games this weekend!
