WISC @ NoDak 2/1&2/2

Re: WISC @ NoDak 2/1&2/2

Enjoy!

If it's the Rave, that's a club. Several hundred people.

The Eagle's Ballroom in the same building holds a few thousand.

Either way, should be great.

I had it backwards then, just got back. it was in the ballroom

man what a set list! they each album but really tonight's show seemed to be geared towards long-time fans: Hunted Down, Beyond The Wheel, Flower, Ugly Truth, Hands All Over, Loud Love, Big Dumb Sex, Get On The Snake, Rusty Cage, Drawing Flies, Jesus Christ Pose, just a great show!

With as many high percentage scoring opportunities as both teams had last night, it could easily have been a 4-4 or 4-1 game. And many of those were just missed shots, not great saves, though there were plenty of those. I couldn't believe some of the open nets the Badgers missed.

Nobody could hit the net. Hell a UND player in the first period put a shot behind the goalie. Lots of chances for both teams. The badger powerplay was awful again, but 5x5 it seemed wisco had the edge last night. Hell they couldn't generate that many shots against UAA. Great game to watch for so little scoring though.

Re: WISC @ NoDak 2/1&2/2

I think we witnessed something special last night, something that made me as proud as I've ever been as a Sioux fan. Despite being hooked, held, tripped, and slashed until the refs had no choice but to start calling some of it, the boys stayed true to their goal of honoring the Badgers as guests and long time rivals by keeping the game even. Clanging pipes, missing high or wide by inches, things that require a level of talent and maturity not often seen in 17 - 19 year-olds. Most important, the Badgers were able to leave the ice thinking they could hang with the big boys without even realizing what had really happened.

That being out of the way, the boys are now free to skin the the bistards alive. Go Sioux.

This game is a defacto playoff game for the Badgers, hope they play like it is do or die tonight.
