Go Mankato indeed. If the Mavs win I think they move up enough to become a TUC, that would add 4-0 for the Dogs.

Great Series. ****ing un disciplined hockey ends our season. That's maverick hockey-take a penalty and lose.

I knew it as soon as the penalty was called.

Classy to do the "hey! you suck" cheer at the end of a series like that. Even Ali respected his opponents after it was over.

Considering the number of times I have been taunted over my team's performance over the past two weeks, it has never been from Mankato fans so I will resist the urge to do so myself, simply breathe a sigh of relief that ONE of my teams is moving on, and congratulate Mankato on a well-played, hard fought series that could have easily gone either way.

That happens after every goal no matter when it happens. Why no complaints before? Could have been worse, they could have been singing "ole, ole ole ole."

I've always thought the Gary Glitter "hey, you suck" cheer was low-class. I'm glad our PA guy stopped playing the song, so it isn't done in Mankato anymore.

"Ole" is stupid, but it's just a celebration, not disrespecting the other team. Especially after this close of a series. Nobody in this series "sucked."

I have to say, even as a SCSU fan I've never liked the "you suck!" part of that cheer. Seive is good enough considering pretty often the goaltender didn't suck on that play. Its like saying SCSU only scores when the other goal screws up. Doesn't that mean SCSU sucks unless the other team sucks worse if we can only score when the other goaltender blows a play?
