They lost to their arch rival 2-1 in OT on their ice. The 2nd game starts in about 10 mins. But they're not in danger of screwing up the UAA/SCSU playoff matchup.

So ... um allow me to cherry pick the record down the stretch.

By my calculations SCSU is now 3-3 down the stretch since being in first place in the WCHA.

Finishing the season on Wisconsin's home ice? With them fighting to maintain a home ice playoff spot? I don't envy St. Cloud. I sure hope the players understand what is at stake. I wouldn't want to see them have to host MTU for the playoffs.

Split with Wisconsin and I'd imagine da Gophs and/or UND will have something to say about that.

SCSU has 3 sweeps all season. With their long history of poor finishes, it's frankly not giving me any confidence.

Don't fret, we own the tiebreaker over both of them

Right on. I wasn't sure of that. So then a split with Wisconsin is enough if both Minnie and NoDak sweep. 2 points against Bucky seems pretty doable.

That's the only thing I'm not 100% sure on... if we split and MN and UND sweep then I'm not 100% sure how the three team tiebreaker works. If its winning percentage between the three teams then MN's 2-1-1 beats our 3-2-1
