Puck drops in an hour. Anyone expecting any upsets outside of maybe UNH? I don't see it.

For those of you unaware, the entire NU/PC series will be on NESN HD.

Maine is one of those teams that is likely a little better than its record. If they were playing a normal team, that might come into play. As it is, I think all four seeds are going to hold.

About halfway through the 2nd period the BC-Maine game, it is tied 2-2.

Edit BC just scored to make it 3-2...

You called it correctly TTT20....going into the 3rd, UNH down by 2.....sloppy goals given up too despite team's psyche....small ice might be stymying the Cats...they're running over each other.....definitely disappointing, might dissuade me from the 3 hour trip tomorrow with DC......

Regardless of anything else about these 2 games at Storrs, you have to give props to Elaine Chuli! Even though UNH gave up 2 goals when leading in the 3rd, in the 4th and 5th periods, it was Chuli who kept the series from going the distance....she was remarkable with her angles, challenging the shooter, protecting the pipes and upper corners, she sprawled and did the Cha-Cha to keep the Cats off the board....along with her, UConn did the basics that made the difference....soft hands on their sticks, strong board play, sticking to their system, positionally strong as in front of the net for the puck.....obviously things UNH did not do. Regardless of the series, UNH came a long way from September, with the freshman making huge strides in becoming D-1 players, which will be badly needed as we lose 6 strong seniors! To be honest, whomever would go on after this weekend, would they have a real chance against BC? Watch for the trap to make it's return, and lookout for Ms. Chuli, for the 1 game semi's...it's why we play the game!:rolleyes:

Good luck TTT20! How you slow down BC will be the trick obviously, that's why I expect the trap plus a little Deraney physical play!

We'll need it! I don't think anyone saw that 5-4 game from last month coming... I doubt we'll see it again haha

Does anyone know if the final will be live on NESNplus? It's on tape delay on NESN, but usually they have the live broadcast on NESNplus too, I just can't find anywhere saying that. Last year I couldn't either until the day of, though.

Per this release on the Hockey East website today, the Hockey East championship game will be shown live as well as on tape delay.

"The 14th Annual Women's Hockey East title game will be aired live on American Sports Network and aired on tape delay at 5:00 p.m. on NESN."

But I would prefer that TTT attend the game in person, given his track record watching the Eagles play live :D

This doesn't make any sense, ASN *is* NESN in New England, but the Red Sox are playing.

My guess is it will be on NESNplus like it always is.

But I would prefer that TTT attend the game in person, given his track record watching the Eagles play live :D
