Jim Croce - I Got a Name

Honestly, this is one of the few albums that can make me cry at times. I can't figure out how it has only made it to Gold status over the years.

Finally found "Movin' On" by Ellen Gee. The full version, that is, not the DDR 5th mix edit.

Saw them for the first time about three months later at UMaine. Amazing how many songs from that set were from their yet to be recorded second album.

A 24 song setlist for a band that young is huge, and rare.

I saw them at Navy Island with The Phones, The Replacements and The Suburbs, and they played at a bar later that night unadvertised.

The Byrds - Playlist I made heavy on the mid portion of their run.

Too bad most people associate them with their 60s hippy-dippy stuff.

Notorious Byrd Brothers, Ballad of Easy Rider, Sweetheart of the Rodeo & Dr. Byrds & Mr. Hyde are full of great tunes.

On the way home from hockey last night and the way into work today...

The Chronic & Doggystyle made into an integrated playlist. These two albums are really two parts of the same or similar ideas and are absolute classics - especially The Chronic. They go together seamlessly and I still listen to these several times a year.

And I typically loathe rap/hip hop.

Perhaps there are those among the ranks of youth to restore hope for the future of music. Eat it Justin Beiber...and your fans.

Rufus - did REM play UNH in the same time frame? I saw them at Ludholm Gymnasium and I think that was the tour.

Tweeter sung by Tom? Nice!
