Black Rebel Motorycle Club and Interpol - all of it in rotation.

Hammerfall - Legacy of Kings

Sword metal and Van Halen united. Love it.

Nice. Try some Blind Guardian while you are at it.

I have been in a progressive death metal mode listening to a lot of Opeth. Blackwater Park album today.

If you haven't I recommend Forth. Too bad they couldn't stay together for a 3rd time, although Richard Ashcroft has some wonderful solo work.

Yeah, I've got it. They could have been bigger, or at least were good enough to be bigger. Own worst enemies...

Great stuff.

Been meaning to get HSAS (Hagar Schon Aaronson Shrieve) and finally found it yesterday.

This was an early 80s project with Neil Schon and Sammy Hagar. I remember seeing the concert broadcast on MTV at the time and liking it as I've always liked Schon quite a bit.

Nice to get to hear him without Perry singing all over every solo. Decent early 80s arena rock.

Still enjoying the afterglow of a week's worth of the Hair Nation channel on my vacation via Sirius XM. Not much Tesla, Bang Tango, Hurricane, Faster Pussycat, or Tora Tora played on mainstream radio anymore.

Yes, it's incredibly cheesy. Go * yourself. :p

Tesla: best 80's band that time forgot.

Truth is, I was listening to them 5 years ago, and that channel was just a reminder of the awesome.

It's the really deep cuts that totally escaped me. "Walkin' Shoes" by Tora Tora is probably the best Van Halen ripoff ever. And Bang Tango - the bassist is almost "Flea good", without the recognition.

Even though Zeppelin is one of my all time favs, doubt that I'll go to this in the theater - would've been happy with a dvd.

They never turn the volume up enough in the theater for rock movies.

Listening to The Prodigy right now.

Re: What's on your Playlist? USCHO Music Thread

Tesla still rocks, I saw them at Treasure Island back in May and they put on great show. A very solid band imo.

Just scored a radio broadcast of David Bowie - 8/5/90 from Milton Keynes Bowl in England on the Sound & Vision Tour. Adrian Belew was his guitarist for this tour.

Really good show and playing just about every hit along with some juicy rarities.

Good stuff.

Bauhaus - Press the Eject and Give me the Tape

Awesome and totally fits my mood right now.

I'm down with She Wants Revenge, can't get into Flo, Crows or post-Parachutes Coldplay, don't know the rest.
