Between them and Bad Religion you'd have one helluva faculty skater squad.

They toured together in 2016. If they ever do again I am going, I don't care where it is.

Bad Religion puts on one helluva show. Have seen them twice.

Ah, the dreaded road test drivers exam...

@nbcwashington: Officials from the DMV said a person who has a permit, and was taking a driving test, backed into a parking spot, sped up instead of braking and crashed through windows of the building facing the parking area. http://nbc4dc.com/8lGgbup

Jared Fogle.

I'm shocked he hasn't been knifed in prison yet.

Did he actually molest kids? That will definitely get the sh-t kicked out of you in gen pop, but I'm not sure having a hard drive of dirty pictures brings the hammer.

I suspect Prison Justice also recognizes a difference between your victim being 16, 13, or 10. The latter will get you dead. The middle will get you in traction. The former probably reminds most cons of that Spring night in Tulsa in 1994. We're not talking about nice people, here.

People need to chill out. If other people having differing views than you is getting you twisted up into a wad, the problem isn't likely to be the other people. Sure, they may be idiots, but you're proving yourself to be the stupid one.

Politically, my dad and I couldn't be more different. I just let him go.

This is Wisdom.

I have righty friends who we can pull each others' tails in fun. I have others where we both avoid any discussion like the pit of hell. It all comes down to the relationship and what it can support.

It also helps to realize that although we obviously all believe the things we believe because, well duh, to a very large extent the things we believe are the result of our biography. Raise me with Thumpers in West Virginia and I'm sure I'd have wound up a Chesterton-spewing High Church Conservative Intellectual like Derbyshire, writing smart as-s Chicago School commentary in the National Review and preening in my Popperian wokeness. Once you realize your beliefs are basically emotions given a slapdash rationalist backstory by your vanity, you can cut others a lot more slack.

"The fundamental cause of trouble in this world is that the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt."- Bertrand Russell

Shorter: "Don't believe everything you think."

And further, political conversations on Facebook are about as useful as herding cats or nailing Jello to a tree.

Most of it is just noise, and I don't want to add to cacophony.

Twitter and Facebook are terrible places for a discussion. This Forum is a lot better. I used to try to post on places like Kos but the brutality of the factions reminded me of high school and I stopped.

Twitter is godawful, but for some reason, I still Tweet on a daily basis. Ditched my Facebook habit a year and a half ago.

You need to try a kale/potato/cheese casserole. It's 50% grease, but still...

Got a new phone, realized I couldn't remember my Facebook password, and decided that was as good a time as any to duck the Zuck. Baleeted.

On a rare day, we're talking a full moon on Feb 29 type of day, a discussion CAN be had on FB. Twitter? Never. Ever.
