I'll tell you and Flaggy this:

Tolerance simply means putting up with it. Well, after Fundies have told me and other members of the LGBT community that we're destroying society, God is going to kill us, same sex marriage is destroying the sanctity of marriage, and that trans people are going to rape your children in a Target bathroom...

Why should we have to put up with it? Our reactions are saying "we've had enough of your ****, and we're showing you the door."

I found it ironic/perplexing on the Id's of the people objecting to the appointment/election.

Hey, the organization elected her. They thought she was the best qualified, then outsiders criticize the appointment because she didn't spend her whole life as a woman. So? Can she run/manage the organization effectively? Good. Move on.

Just shows that Canada has the same idiots as we do.

Funny thing is, it's the community you're trying to defend that's mistaking tolerance for acceptance when it comes to this topic.
