What are some big college hockey rivalries?

Re: What are some big college hockey rivalries?

There is a "throw back" rivalry that no one has mentioned and that is UMass-Lowell vs. Merrimack. Back in the day before these two storied programs jumped to Division I this rivalry had no equal at the Division II/III level.

Newest (potential) rivalry for the 21st century: Yale vs. Quinnipiac.

Colgate-Crest (apologies if I was supposed to use a (c) on that one)

It hasn't been the same in many years, but if we're doing throwbacks, BU-Cornell. They've played twice for National Championships, they sell out MSG every other year, and while the hate is definitely higher on one side than the other, there is such a great history that it has to be considered one of the great historical rivalries of College Hockey.
Other great rivalries:
Colgate - Cornell's Indifference Toward Their Travel Partner
ECAC Refs - Knowing the Rules
ECAC Hockey - Putting the Tournament at a Logical Site
