West Regional Final: St. Paul. #1 Wisconsin vs #2 SCSU

Re: West Regional Final: St. Paul. #1 Wisconsin vs #2 SCSU

Congrats to Wisconsin, Good luck in Detroit.

I will be pumped for next season if Roe and Marvin stick around. If they leave it will be rebuilding time again.

All Motzko could do was pull Lee. He couldn't pull Hepp, Gaudet, or Johnson.

(I just assume those three were on the ice for most of the goals...they've all looked like butt for weeks.)

Johnson was the main one again tonight. Hepp actually did his job and Johnson screwed it up.

Well, as the rest of the WCHA, especially my team :), is now out of the tournament, hopefully the winner of this game wins it all. I will be rooting for SCSU, but if Wisconsin takes it, then On Wisconsin.
I will never root for a rival to win anything. I won't take it as far as some and actually go nuts rooting against them, but I certainly won't be happy if they win two more games.

And you are still an idiot.

Me and Motko I guess, he played ever weekend and atleast does something. On a positive note Nick Jensen comes in next year and will be the best D man in the league. Saw him playing all the way up and he is good:)

Re: West Regional Final: St. Paul. #1 Wisconsin vs #2 SCSU

I am sick of SCSU fans blaming freshman for the loss tonight. Last year we sucked this year we were good what is the difference the freshman. This years crop and the sophmores are the reason we got an NCAA win not Roe and Lasch. Give them a break, Johnson, Lee, Hanowski, are heads above what we use to get. We add Gravel and Jensen next year. Losing Raboin hurts but what we got coming in with experience for Johnson, Big O, Zabs and etc will make our D way better. Also Lee will be a Hobey finalist before he leaves. So give them a break you try playind D as a freshman and be noticed you will see what I mean.

No, just you.

Hats off to Wisconsin on a great game. The quick start was the difference. We don't have enough horses to come back from that kind of deficit.

On a side note:

Do any of the Wisconsin (students mostly) fans go to watch the actual game? It seemed to me they mostly wanted to hear themselves make noise.

Watching involves the eyes. Hearing involves the ears. We can multi-task pretty effectively.

Has the "you must prove your 'hockey knowledge' by being deathly silent and any noise you make just proves that you don't like hockey" mentality infected SCSU fans too? Or just this troll?

The Gamblers' Jensen? He isn't always even the best defensemen in Green Bay, much less the USHL, or the WCHA.... He's good but I wouldn't describe him like that.
