Agree. What is Jones' background? Does he have any policy chops?

I would like to see Jones lead a program within the DNC targeting capture opportunities in red states and districts. He can find common ground with white southerners; we need to learn how to do that at the margin. We won't enable white supremacists, but we can learn the language of the white center in the South and try to hook them up with the Black Belt.

Jones, Yates, and Klobuchar would be good picks for the open AG spots. Don’t think Klobuchar would leave for anything but AG. Jones and Yates wouldn’t be bad for associate and deputy

Jones could be great at the southern coalition building but yeah, heck of a prosecutor.

She went out of her way to say whites are important in the coalition. That doesn't compute for people who have been told literally from birth that black people want to rise up and murder us in our beds.
