Weekend Scores, Feb. 17-19

Re: Weekend Scores, Feb. 17-19

Wow. In what is close to being a must game for RPI, Quinnipiac is just skating circles around the Engineers in the first period! Might be the best offensive period I have seen this year.....I think the Bobcats could be a real threat in the playoffs. Selander has been great in net for RPI and the score is only 2-0 but this is totally one-sided.

Re: Weekend Scores, Feb. 17-19

Cornell and St. Lawrence tied at 2-2, headed to OT.

Re: Weekend Scores, Feb. 17-19

Penn State beats Robert Morris 3-2. Neither team scored on three power play opportunities each.

Re: Weekend Scores, Feb. 17-19

After two Ohio State has a 3-1 lead over North Dakota, despite being outshot 24-9.

Halfway through the 3rd the Buckeyes still lead by two, at 4-2. Shaw having a tough night in goal for the Fighting Hawks, with 4 goals allowed on just 12 shots.

The ***** Hawks sure are hard to figure out...

Providence up 2-0 on BC after 1. BC's just totally out of gas at this point in the season playing with 4 D for the last couple months. The defense just looks awful.

On the ice for BC on both goals: Sommerfield, Capizzano, Lonergan and Belinskas
On the ice for BC on one of the goals: Keller (say it ain't so) :) and Flanagan

Providence now up 3-1

On the ice for BC on all 3 Providence goals: Capizzano, Lonergan and Belinskas OUCH
And for 2 of the 3 goals: Flanagan :(

On the bright side Belinskas did score the BC goal and Keller did get the assist. :D

BC's not winning this game. This will pretty much bump us out of realistic home ice contention unless everyone else collapses today.

Everyone else isn't playing PC, so it wouldn't take a collapse.

You still have 20 minutes. Don't give up the ship just yet.

We need three goals. We're playing with four defensemen, only two of which started the season playing D. Everyone is sucking wind on every shift. We look terrible. This is a disaster.
