After watching that game (I didn't see all of it) I have a little appreciation for WCHA officiating. 12 penalties, a couple strange icing calls late in the game.

I wonder how many minutes Marchment and Webster play :cool:

With the Clarkson win and SLU loss today, Clarkson wins the ECAC Regular Season title and has the #1 seed in the ECAC Tournament.

In the final minute of the game, there was a mad scramble in front of the net with Tiley down and out and Quinny had a wide open net and hit the post for what would have been the game tying goal.

The NC$$ has to be taking gas if this is the way the PWR ends up. One loooooong bus trip and 3 air plane flights east to west.

Independent of the results of the other games around the country, this is what happens if UM splits and UMD sweeps next weekend. The change is almost identical but it is a net positive for both of them. UMD increased by 0.0019 and UM increases by 0.0015.

I think they would send Clarkson to SLU in this case. BC and Clarky are in a virtual tie and it would save them a lot of money in a year where they'd be dishing out a ton of airfare.

EDIT: Based solely on last year's precedent -- according to the letter of the rulebook, they shouldn't, but who the eff knows what they're going to do anymore.
