Shots are favoring Minnesota 37-5

After two periods:
BC goes up on Quinnipiac 2-1.
Wisconsin and North Dakota still scoreless.

Near the end of the 2nd the Gophers finally score to even it up with OSU 1-1.

Minnesota 2, Ohio State 1 (Potomak AGAIN with the game winning goal)

Wisconsin leads North Dakota 2-0 halfway through the 2nd period.

The NCAA (& NFHS) rule that goalies must serve their majors and misconducts came into play today in the Clarkson - UNH game.

Clarkson goalie Shea Tiley must have said something to the gendarmes and received a tenner late in period 2.

I love these -- I have a couple very fond goalie-in-the-box memories from my college years.

I sit behind the opposing goalie's net, and I can verify 3 F-bombs, and a shake of the head. This was in response to a play in which 3 Clarkson players (including Tiley, who planted a solid cross check) sent a UNH forward tail over head in front of the net. Somehow the scrum managed to knock Tiley's helmet off. I highly doubt it was the UNH player, because she was prone by then, and heavily guarded.

Backup tender, Johnson came in and stopped everything sent to her. I was flabbergasted, when after Tiley served her 10, she immediately took her place back in net. Nice message.

Penn State leads RIT 1-0 after the first period, on Amy Petersen's second shorthanded goal of the series.

Clarkson leads Harvard 1-0 in second

Cornell and RPI scoreless after 2

SLU up on Dartmouth 2-0 after 2

Mercyhurst and Robert Morris are tied 1-1

Colgate leads Union 1-0

Wisconsin up 3-0 in the second on Minnesota State

Penn State beats RIT 5-0 for a series sweep. Freshman goalie Daniela Paniccia was in net for both games, for back-to-back shutouts.
