WCHA title Michigan Tech vs Bowling Green

Re: WCHA title Michigan Tech vs Bowling Green

Back to back road trips to Bemidji and Houghton ought to be great motivation for home ice next year. I get tired just thinking about it. I hope they have jet, I mean prop lag.
I was kind of hoping their series would go three for that reason.

Re: WCHA title Michigan Tech vs Bowling Green

There was a video on tech's instagram of students setting up a line at the door with sleeping bags and board games at 2:00 today. (The first 500 in line get in)

Re: WCHA title Michigan Tech vs Bowling Green

These two straight weeks of sunshine in Anchorage has got me loopy, almost forgot about the title game! Good atomsphere.

Re: WCHA title Michigan Tech vs Bowling Green

The main guy on the broadcast is the classy version of Bruch Cesh. Voice can get high but you can understand him.

Re: WCHA title Michigan Tech vs Bowling Green

I can no longer feel my right leg.

Tech: Jake Johnson
BGSU: Kevin Dufour

That was a fine game, and I'm glad that the embellishment call on Gould didn't cost the Huskies.

I've gotta say the BG falcons really impressed me. They had so much class, they played really hard, it was really unfortunate that someone had to lose this game.
Tech had a lot of guys hurt by the end of the game, but they stuck with it. Great game to watch.

Agreed. I hope Chris Bergeron gets a new job. BG always scares me.

Just got home from the MacInnes, what a great place to be tonight. Tip of the hat to the Falcons, they played hard and well. Great win for Tech and Mel. WAY TO GO HUSKIES!!

I may be partial, but that sure didn't look like embellishment to me (or other fans in attendance). Gould is on the lighter side as far as weight goes and he was clearly knocked over. The guy plays with a lot of guts and determination for his stature. How did you see it?

Just like you did. I think the ref didn't want to put one team a man down. It was a wretched call.

2 OT's is fitting to finish this season. When a husky has a trailer, if they got the puck more often it would have led to more scoring chances. All around great game, great atmosphere, perfect way to end a season.
