What are your thoughts, Tech is ready for the visit from BG. A 1 game take all should be very interesting, an NCAA tourney bid at stake.

This should be an incredible game. Go Tech!

They may have more information on The Mel Pearson Show tomorrow morning​. Might be good question to email if they don't bring it up.There were many lined up at the ticket windows right after the game getting their tickets for this Saturday. Season ticket holders have until Tuesday noon to keep their seats.

I'm rooting for Tech, but I wouldn't be upset if BGSU wins since they haven't been in the NCAA Tourney since 1990.

Shoot, wish I didn't have family obligations now, or I'd change my flights. What's done is done though, and family is family. So from afar, Let's Go Huskies!

EDIT: BTW, win or lose, Ohio is the intergluteal cleft of the country.

The WCHA Championship Game, better known as: The game which determines the team to represent the WCHA in the NCAA tourney since the regular season champion isn't getting a bid... again.

Congrats to both teams on earning your way in. The WCHA will be well represented by whoever wins Saturday's game.

Went back to the preseason polls, and saw that these were the teams picked 1-2. So the media guys sorta got it right.

Doesn't look like the game will be on TV..... :( Hopefully that will change, but I am not going to hold my breath.

Best of luck to both teams. I have no ill feelings towards either fan base/team....

The odds of it being on local TV in the UP are very good. But outside the local TV market, you're looking at WCHA.tv if you want to watch the game. The league approached ASN but they are already committed to the ECAC championship game at the same time.

Has the league tried all other college hockey broadcast options? I hope some network would pick it up for college hockey fans to watch.

I like this format, but it does make it difficult for the TV people. It was about 8:30 last night before it could be determined where Saturday's game would be. Logistically, that makes it difficult for an event that would be break even, at best, for them.

Fox Sports North showed the semis and final the last 3 years, but they knew well in advance where it was going to be.

I've had Tech since the end of the regular season and I'm certainly not going back now. Should be a good game with both teams seasons on the line!
