It should be a great game tomorrow night. North Dakota will need to play significantly better if they want to play for the three-peat.

was their ever a nice guy? I always thought you were one of the better goof fans but a few nasty reps later and I have a different view... the Sioux will have to play twice as well tomorrow if the want to hang with Minny. all in all though I am very pleased what this team has been able to with it's available talent. holy NC$$s batman!!!

So I wasn't paying real close attention in tonight's game, but was Gleason skating up to fill in at forward? Seemed like he was at wing a couple times and they mentioned the Whioux had only 11 forwards available.

hopefully the WCHA puts a few more refs on the ice so rau has more bodies to hide behind. here's hoping that he and Blood meet in aforementioned corner... :eek:

Blood can take all the 5 minute penalties he wants. Fine by me.

The sue played well tonight and I am not sure what gopher team will show up tomorrow night but I have a feeling we will see a good game tomorrow night. And it should be a good game to play for either team to get ready for the ncaa tourney. Go gophers

Yes, Gleason has played both D and forward, and often in the same game.

If the Gophers can't win this one, they will really be in a tailspin. Losing to a bunch of walk-ons who can barely get enough players together to scrimmage? The players will start hanging out with football players just for cover.

it doesn't matter for the sue, hakstool couldn't win in the years he had the most talent in the nation, he sure isn't going to coach this year's group of misfits very far. The best you can hope for is some interesting goonery and thuggery before they get beat.

Well, I was rooting for St. Cloud, but can't say I'm too disappointed with a Friday night Sioux - Gopher match-up at the X.

After watching both games today, I'm feeling better about the Gophers' chances.
If MN can take care of the puck (as in avoid stupid turnovers) and stay out of the box, I think they will be successful.
