WCHA Semi-Final #2 - UND vs. Denver - 3/19/10

Re: WCHA Semi-Final #2 - UND vs. Denver - 3/19/10

Former Husker linebacker (and a very good one) Trev Albert is now the AD at UNO and will be the between period guest.

I hate that A-hole.

I was living in Omaha when Osborne went 60-5 in his last five seasons and won 3 national titles. The station I worked for carried the games, so my perspective is somewhat different. I'm not sure I'd pledge him, though.

Being a true Colorado native through and through I MUST hate everything Cornhusker. The N stands for nowledge. :)

Who's wearing the orange bands up there? Sounds like both GT interference calls were blown. Anybody see what happened to #16?

Long before I wound up in Omaha I had Nebraska on my list of teams I wanted to win, especially because Osborne was always using the fumblerooski and boomerooski and all the rest. I was in Nebraska when that phoney putz Bill McCartney coached the Buffs. Like somebody said, if you want to have a rivalry with Nebraska you're gonna have to do better than 1-12-1.

Plus I really liked the option offense. A throwback to an earlier time. They're gonna run, they know you know they're gonna run, and they stuff it right up your kazoo.

Sioux have been excellent so far, Denver not so much.

The Pioneers are going to need a superhuman effort in the third...

Thumbs down for sure!

Crap. Is it too late to start the clock?

Jay has been abnormally quiet with "Jayisms." He may have to make up for lost time in the 3rd.

Todd Anderson is one ref and Maiani hurt his hand and is out for the game.

Maiani hurt either his wrist or hand in the first period. He's done for the night, and maybe more.

DU has had to juggle lines, and it's killed the effectiveness of the Martin line.
