48 players came charging out of the gate vying for fame and glory as the biggest Pick 'Em contest in the history of the USCHO Fan Forum took flight -- and you can tell your grandkids, "I was there!" The fans were not disappointed as fourteen (14!) players correctly picked the winners of the opening 9 games. It should have been 15 except SweeneyHawksHockey couldn't stay away from the homer pick. Welcome Home, Berge! Ay Ziggy Zoomba!

Seventeen games make up the Week 2 slate; any player able to remain perfect after running this gauntlet gets some positive rep from me.

Curious how do you list the order of names when they are all tied? Actually just wanted a marker:D

Behind the scenes the pivot table feature in Google Sheets does an un-requested secondary sort in reverse alpha on the Player Name. I suspect it's because the primary sort is Total Points highest-->lowest. I've given up trying to change it.

Probably more info than you needed for a marker...

Cream, as they say, rises to the top and so does BroncoHockeyFan who with 36 points edged out a week 2 win over MissThundercat , SweeneyHawksHockey, Stauber1 , and gochiefs to take sole possession of first place. Special shout out to Critical Thinker and Mavsfan19 for correctly picking the St. Cloud/Bemidji tie on Saturday. Honorable mention goes to RIT who scored three unanswered goals in the freakin' third period/OT to skunk the entire field.

Normally week 3 sees the start of our bonus but with 12 games on the schedule we'll hold off for another week.

REMINDER that there is a Thursday night game this week so get those picks in early.
